Analysis of Amitabh Bachchan's Horoscope

Let us examine his horoscope.
The Chart of Amitabh Bachchan is peculiar and contradictory in nature. Inspite of having all the important Raj Yogas in this Chart there are some peculiarities and contradictions present itself for the students of Astrology.

• Amitabh Bachchan is having Aquarius Ascendant and Moon in Libra and having Swathi Nakshatra ( as Star Constellation).
• Ascendant Lord & 12th house Lord Saturn is posited in fourth house in Taurus Sign, which is a friendly Sign for Saturn, but Saturn is in retrograde motion.
• The 2nd & 11th house Lord Jupiter is posited in sixth house in Cancer Sign ( It's sign of exaltation ).
• Mars is Lord of 3rd & 10th house, and is posited in eigth house in Virgo sign. It is in conjunction with Sun, Mercury and Venus there.
• Venus is Lord of 4th & 9th house and is posited in eighth house in Virgo Sign ( It's sign of debilitation ), but there is cancellation of its debilitation and the same is forming ' Neecha Bhang Raj Yoga'.
• Mercury is Lord of 5th & 8th house and is placed in Virgo Sign in 8th house in exaltation motion.
• Moon is Lord of 6th house and is placed in ninth house in Libra Sign.
• Sun is Lord of 7th house and is placed in eighth house in Virgo Sign ( neutral sign for sun ).
• Rahu and Ketu are occupying seventh and first houses respectively.

Peculiar and contradictory positions in his Chart considering his tremendous success and fame:

• In this Chart 4 planets viz Sun, Mars, Mercury and Venus are in 8th house which is a Trika House.
• Ascendant Lord is in retrograde motion.
• Jupiter Lord of 2nd and 11th house is in exaltation motion but having 0.32 degrees.
• Mars & Mercury are both combusted.
• Rahu & Ketu are forming 1-7 axis.
• Venus a yog karak Planet is in debilitation motion
• Mercury is combusted as well as exalted in Chart

So at a first glance nothing seems to match with his high level of success & fame checking his Chart though Mercury being exalted and presence of quite a few Yogas present in his horoscope gives semblance of respectability to his Chart. Without much ado and delay let us straight away get to analyzing his Chart. Jupiter in his horoscope is Lord of 2nd house ( house of wealth and finance) and also Lord of 11th house ( house of gains) and is in exalted motion, so he didn't had to struggle much for getting a job once he completed his education. Let us examine the nakshatra of Jupiter to minutely examine Jupiter's strength. Jupiter in his chart is in Jupiter's own nakshatra 'Punarvasu' which explains him getting a decent job once he finished his education. Secondly exalted 2nd Lord is placed in house of service & jobs ( 6th house).

• Venus the Lord of 4th and 9th house is a yog karaka planet is having it's aspect on 2nd house ( house of wealth & finance).
• Venus is also significator of creativity, talent and beauty is in Hasta nakshatra which belongs to Moon and such gives artistic capabilities to Amitabh.
• Venus the Yog Karak planet is making Neecha Bhanga Raj Yoga in his chart.

His success in Filmdom : He is known as 'Shahenshah of Indian Cinema' . If we see his chart , we can clearly see he has 4 planets posited in his 8th house, which is not a good placement to have a successful stint in life. When as many as 4 planets are in 8th house, rest assured life would be a big struggle. If we see Amitabh's life as compared to other newcomers in movies at that time , his life held not many struggles. Placement of all 4 planets in 8th house in Virgo Sign is what saved him , as Mercury is exalted in his chart. At present Jupiter is transiting over it's own sign and this transit is reasonably favorable one for him. What ever hard efforts he has put in past will give him good results in this phase. Jupiter as well as Saturn are giving their aspects on 5th house , due to which his hard work will be rewarded. At present Amitabh is undergoing Venus-Mercury which started from 7th of July 2017 and will end on 27th of December 2017. Mercury is Lord of 5th house in this chart and exalted , but at the same time it is also Lord of 8th house ( markesh) so while the financial situation will be satisfactory , his health will be sluggish in this period and he has to be very careful as to not to over work himself.
