It is believed that when the Gods were
repeatedly beaten by Demons then all Gods go to the Lord Brahma for lifelong
solution. For this Lord Brahma advice them that only a warrior born out of "Shaktipunj"
(semen of Lord Shiva) could guide the Gods to get victory. The Gods prayed for
Lord Shiva who pleased and go to Goddess Parvati to fulfill the Gods' wishes.
All of them Gods sent "Agni" (God of Fire) as a mark to observe. Lord Shiva
establish out and out his semen in the form of fire "Agni. This heat is very
powerful due to which Agni couldn't bear the heat of Lord Shiva's reproductive
force and dive it in divine waters of River Ganga. Reason for that River Ganga
started boiling for this powerful heat and she released it down to the Earth.
When the holy waters of Ganga and then Earth are being sanctified by Fire then "Shaktipunj"
solidified and will turn into Mercury or Para. This solid form of Para is called
Parad. |
